You can explore three distinct zones: the Rocky Shore, where resilient aquatic life adapted to harsh coastal environments thrive; the Rainforest, teeming with vibrant freshwater animals such as playful otters and formidable piranhas; and the Living Ocean, offering a glimpse into the mysteries of the deep sea with creatures like Sea Dragons and Sea Jellies.

What's not allowed

• Photography and videography are permitted. However, specific exhibits do not allow flash photography for the safety of the animals.

• Re=entry is not permitted.

• The average time spent at the Aquarium tunnel (Level 0) is 15 - 30 min. The Underwater Zoo (Level 2) takes about 45 min - 1.5 hrs. The Glass Bottom Boat ride lasts approximately 15 to 20 min.

• Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult above 15 years at all times.

Located inside the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is home to over 30,000 aquatic animals. See piranhas, rays, sharks, and more inside the 10-million-litre water tank, which is also one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world. Apart from meeting a 40 year old giant crocodile weighing 750 kilograms, you will also see the world's largest collection of sand tiger sharks.
