SUMMIT One Vanderbilt spans several immersive levels that combine observation decks with large-scale art installations and interactive spaces. As you move through the experience, mirrored environments, glass ledges, and open-air terraces transform the surrounding skyline into part of the attraction. Each level offers a different perspective of New York City while blending architecture, technology, and panoramic views.
Air by Kenzo Digital
Air is the centerpiece of the SUMMIT experience. This multi-level mirrored installation surrounds visitors with reflective walls, ceilings, and floors that multiply the views of the New York skyline. The changing light and reflections create a constantly evolving environment where the city appears to stretch endlessly in every direction.
Levitation Glass Skyboxes
Levitation features two glass skyboxes that extend outward from the building above Madison Avenue. Stepping inside the transparent ledges gives visitors the thrilling sensation of floating above the streets while looking straight down at the city below.
Affinity Room
The Affinity installation fills a mirrored space with floating silver spheres that visitors can interact with. The reflective surfaces and moving orbs create a playful environment that changes depending on movement and light.
Après Terrace and Lounge
The experience concludes at the open-air terrace and indoor lounge area, where visitors can relax while enjoying views of Midtown Manhattan. From here, you can see landmarks such as the Empire State Building and the surrounding skyline from a unique elevated perspective.
Best Views at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
SUMMIT offers some of the most dramatic viewpoints in Midtown Manhattan. From its elevated position next to Grand Central Terminal, visitors can see many of New York City’s most recognizable landmarks.
Looking south, the Empire State Building dominates the skyline, while Central Park stretches north across Manhattan. On clear days, the views extend across the Hudson River, Lower Manhattan, and even the Statue of Liberty in the distance. Sunset and nighttime visits are especially popular, when the mirrored installations reflect the city lights and create a striking visual experience high above the streets.
