- Windsor Castle is not open to visitor on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as 25-26 December. The State Apartments may also be closed on rare occasions. In such cases, the place of visit will change to St. George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Doll's House instead. (St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays
