Child policy: - Children under 6 years are free of charge, but are not entitled to a seat. A child ticket must be purchased if a reserved seat is necessary. Good to know: - This pass can be purchased and used by international travellers with a non-Japanese passport. A valid passport must be presented upon redemption. - The JR EAST PASS cannot be used for the Tokaido Shinkansen, Izu Kyuko Line, or Fujikyu Railway Line. - Reservations can be made at the designated JR East reserved seat ticket machines. Included lines: - JR EAST (including Bus Rapid System) - Narita Express - Tokyo Monorail (Tokyo Panorama Line) - Aoimori Railway Line - Iwate Galaxy Railway (IGR) Line - Sendai Airport Transit Line - Sanriku Railway - Hokuetsu Express​ ​ - Echigo Tokimeki Railway (between Naoetsu and Arai) - Reserved seats in ordinary cars of the following express trains with through operations between JR EAST and Tobu Railway lines: Nikko, Kinugawa, and SPACIA Kinugawa trains. - Tobu Railway local trains (including rapid services) from Shimo-imaichi to Tōbu-nikkō and Kinugawa-onsen.
