Experience the Victorian gold rush with admission to Sovereign Hill, where you can try gold panning, explore the Red Hill Mine on a self-guided tour, and watch demonstrations of life during that time period. Plus, go underground on a guided mine tour. Please arrive at the attraction by 1:00 PM to book the mine tour. Arriving after 1:00 PM will not guarantee availability to join the tour, and no refund will be provided.
Important Information
Child policy:
- Children under 5 years are free of charge.
- Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at least 16 years of age.
Good to know:
- Admission tickets are not valid during the Winter Wonderlights event from 26 June to 19 July 2026.
- Flash photography is not permitted in the Red Hill Mine or during performances at the Victoria Theatre.
