Tropical Spice Garden is home to more than 500 species of flora and fauna, with a special focus on spices and herbs. In this cooking class, generationally taught home cooks will share treasured family recipes, as well as tips and tricks for producing the authentic, spice-laden cuisine of Southeast Asia. Classes take place in individual cooking stations, where you will learn how to recreate the traditional methods of preparing Nyonya, Malay, Indian, Thai, and Asian Vegetarian cuisine.

Prepare your lunch from scratch as you learn how to recreate authentic Southeast Asian cuisine under the guidance of a generationally taught, local home cook. Included in the programme is a garden tour with an English-speaking local spice expert. Classes are available only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Important Information
Child policy:
- Children under 5 years are free of charge.
- Children under 16 years are not allowed to join the Forest Bathing activity.
Good to know:
- Last admission is one hour before closing time. Check the official website for the daily opening hours before your visit.
- Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Fridays to Sundays: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Please download the audio guide for offline use in case there is limited internet connectivity within the garden.
- You are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, as there are inclines and uneven terrain in certain areas.
