Yerebatan Sarnıcı, İstanbul'un kalbinde yer alan ve Bizans İmparatorluğu döneminden kalma etkileyici bir yapıdır. 143 metre uzunluğunda ve 65 metre genişliğindeki bu devasa sarnıç, 9.800 metrekarelik bir alanı kaplamaktadır. Toplamda 336 sütunla desteklenen sarnıcın tavanı, tuğla örgüsüyle yapılmıştır ve su geçirmez özelliktedir. Sarnıç, İstanbul'un su ihtiyacını karşılamak amacıyla inşa edilmiş ve uzun yıllar boyunca kullanılmıştır. Günümüzde ise turistik bir cazibe merkezi olarak ziyaretçilerine eşsiz bir deneyim sunmaktadır. Sarnıcın loş ışıklandırılması, suyun hafifçe yansıması ve klasik müzik eşliğinde gezilmesi, ziyaretçilere unutulmaz anlar yaşatmaktadır. Getting in was quick with the skip-the-line ticket. The audio guide was helpful to learn about the history as we walked around.
